Meet Adam Benna

Attorney, businessman, advocate, family man —

Adam Benna is ready to lead.

Adam Benna is a lifelong Floridian and Democrat whose parents instilled the value of community engagement from a young age. While becoming the first in his family to graduate from college, Adam worked on President Obama’s historic presidential campaign in Central Florida. After graduating from the University of Central Florida, Adam went to Washington DC and worked on Capitol Hill focusing onTransportation and Veteran Affair issues. He made his way back to Florida again to work on the re-election campaign for President Obama, Senator Bill Nelson, and many other local Democratic races in Central Florida.

After 2012, Adam moved to South Florida and continued his studies at Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law. He became the first in his family to become a lawyer and receive a graduate degree. He worked for Katherine Fernandez Rundle as a Miami Dade Assistant State Attorney and now is Vice President and General Counsel of RiKEN Construction & Design. Besides working as an attorney in our community, Adam was part of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce Leadership 40th class. He worked alongside many young professionals in our community to address the most pressing issues and challenges facing nonprofit organizations in our community. He is a frequent contributor and columnist to the Miami Community Newspaper writing articles discussing our septic to sewer conversion issue, affordable housing, and the property insurance crisis.

Adam lives in Miami with his wife, Josie, and their 9 month old daughter, Karina.
